The Gift of Leaving Room

As I was creating a post today, I found myself thinking about something that has quietly shaped the way I write.

It isn't my job to tell people who they are.

It isn't my job to convince them they're strong, courageous, or capable.

Instead, I hope to create a moment where they can discover those things for themselves.

Sometimes, all it takes is a peaceful image, a few carefully chosen words, or a song that reaches someone at exactly the right time.

We all see life through the experiences we've lived. A message that encourages one person may comfort another, while someone else may simply pause for a moment and breathe.

That's the beauty of encouragement.

It doesn't demand.

It doesn't label.

It doesn't assume.

It simply offers hope and leaves room for each person to receive it in the way they need.

Over the years, I've realised that the most meaningful messages are often the quietest ones. They don't shout for attention. They gently whisper to the heart.

If my words, songs, videos, or blogs have ever helped you see a little more hope, a little more courage, or a little more of your own worth, then they've done exactly what I hoped they would.

Because the greatest encouragement isn't telling someone who they should be.

It's leaving room for them to discover who they already are.

Love,
Narelle x
