Life Doesn't Always Change in the Big Moments

We tend to remember the milestones. The birthdays, the celebrations, the big decisions and those moments that changed the direction of our lives.

But when I look back, some of the moments that have stayed with me weren't big at all.

A conversation I didn't expect to have.

A laugh that came at exactly the right time.

Sitting quietly with a cuppa and my own thoughts.

A few words someone said that I didn't realise I needed to hear.

Nothing remarkable happened.

And yet… somehow, those little moments stayed.

Maybe that's because life isn't only made up of the things we plan, celebrate or photograph.

Life is also happening in all those quiet spaces in between.

The ordinary moments we don't necessarily recognise as important while we're living them… but somehow, they find a place in our memories and stay there.

Perhaps we don't always need the big moments for life to leave its mark.

Life doesn't always change in the big moments…
Sometimes, it's the quiet ones that stay with us the longest.
